Disney Lorcana’s last booster set of the year, Hyperia City, is almost upon us with more beautiful Disney cards to peruse. We’re happy to exclusively reveal two new cards in this upcoming set with the Epic Héctor Rivera Street Magician and Enchanted Tiana Party Hostess.
Continuing the Pixar additions, Coco makes an appearance in the card game for the first time. That means players and fans will get to see more characters like Héctor Rivera from the Land of the Dead. And even though The Princess and the Frog has already been introduced in Lorcana, we’re also getting an amazing new Enchanted Tiana card featuring her in a new party dress.
Both cards emphasize discard, so both can fit in just fine in decks that manipulate the discard pile and possibly recur any discarded cards back into play. Enchanted Tiana Party Hostess is a great example of this, with the opportunity to play a very costly location for free as long as it’s discarded via her ability. It’ll be interesting to see if there’s a new location in the upcoming set that synergizes specifically with this new Tiana.
Disney Lorcana Hyperia City is set to release on October 23, with pre-release events starting as early as October 16 at your local game stores.
