Save $100 on a Box of Magic’s Spider-Man Collector Boosters, Now in Stock at Amazon

It would be fair to say that the Magic: The Gathering set for Marvel’s Spider-Man didn’t hit the heights anyone was hoping, and while it wasn’t all that much fun to play, at least we got some cool artwork from it.

There’s no better way to get your hands on the set’s rarest, most expensive cards than with Collector Boosters. While they’ve been hard to find in recent weeks, Amazon has them in stock and is selling a box of 12 packs at a 23% discount.

Save Over $100 On Spider-Man MTG Collector Boosters

As with the Avatar Collector Boosters, these packs have been tough to come by, but that doesn’t necessarily make purchasing them a slam dunk.

The discount here brings a box from an eye-watering $455.88 down to $349.99, but this remains the best way to get rare cards like the game’s first Infinity Stone.

It brings each pack from $37.99 down to $29.16, which is still much pricier than you’d pay for a Play Booster pack. In fact, you can buy two Play Booster boxes and still have money left over, and those have 30 packs each.

The appeal of Collector Boosters is that you’re getting foil and unique extended art variants of cards, making them the choice of, well, Collectors looking to make back some value. On the other hand, you can get Play Boosters to actually play the game with.

They might be cheaper, but they’re still expensive, but as we’ve said before you need to decide if the value is worthwhile to you – we’re not your Uncle Ben.

For more on Magic: The Gathering, check out a hefty discount on a Final Fantasy 6 Commander Deck, one of my personal favorite precons for new players, and even a big saving on Final Fantasy booster boxes. There’s also a discount on Avatar Collector booster boxes now as well at Amazon.

TCGPlayer’s Black Friday Sale is Now Live

One more thing before you go, Trading card game players rejoice; TCGPlayer is having a nice Black Friday promotion. From November 28 at 9 AM ET to December 1 at 11 PM ET, you can get 10% cash back in store credits on all purchases.

This includes both single cards and sealed products. Plus, if you’re a TCGPlayer subscriber, you’ll get 13% or more back (12% base plus 1-3% monthly loyalty bonus). That’s pretty great, all things considered.

If you’re looking to buy any singles, it’s worth holding off until then to get the best deal possible.
