Microsoft announces Xbox Partner Preview for this week, with Ryu Ga Gotoku’s Stranger Than Heaven finally making a showing

Microsoft has announced its next Xbox Partner Preview showcase will take place later this week, and focus on third-party games from the likes of Sega and GSC Game World.

The stream will take place on Thursday, 26th March, kicking off at 5pm UK time. That’s 10am Pacific / 1pm Eastern for those across the pond. It will all last for roughly 30 minutes.

As for which games we can expect to see, Microsoft has promised more on Ryu Ga Gotoku’s newest project known as Stranger Than Heaven, as well as an update on Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl and new looks at The Expanse: Osiris Reborn.

There will also be some other bits and pieces to look forward to, with Microsoft promising brand-new reveals and world premieres along with more information about games coming to Game Pass. You will be able to watch this week’s Xbox Partner Preview showcase via YouTube and Twitch.

I will admit, I had forgotten about Stranger Than Heaven, so it will be good to see what Ryu Ga Gotoku has been working on since that initial reveal back 2024, when it was known as the Project Century. It’s a third-person action game with real-time combat set in an open city, this one whisking players back to 1915. You can check out a trailer for Stranger Than Heaven in the video above.

We here at Eurogamer will of course be watching along on Thursday, so be sure to join us for all the chat and news as it happens. Bring snacks!
