AdHoc Studio will bring its delightful superhero comedy Dispatch to Xbox this summer. It’ll be available on Xbox Series S/X, Xbox on PC, and Xbox Cloud. And it will be an Xbox Play Anywhere title.
The Xbox version was announced during the Xbox Partner Preview broadcast this afternoon. And that’s all there is to say, really. Xbox was the one platform the game wasn’t already on; it’s already on PC and PlayStation, and it was added to Switch a little later on.
Dispatch was one of the best games of 2025 – I wrote an article about exactly that during the Christmas period last year. It finished fifth in our Games of 2025 top 50.
In Dispatch, you play as Robert Robertson (voiced by Breaking Bad’s Aaron Paul), who’s hired as a superhero dispatcher after his own superhero career takes a literal nosedive. What follows is frequent hilarity as Robertson struggles to maintain control of an unruly crew of misfits. It’s heartfelt, it’s witty, and you should play it.
