Legacy of the Dark Knight Reveals Gotham by Gaslight Batsuit

Legacy of the Dark Knight Reveals Gotham by Gaslight Batsuit

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is pulling from everything in the world of Batman: the movies, the 1960’s TV show, and of course the comics. Today, WB Games has revealed the LEGO Batman version of the Batsuit from Gotham by Gaslight, the beloved steampunk-themed Elsewords comic from 1989.

The hugely popular steampunk-era Batman comic pit Batman circa-1889 against Jack the Ripper. The LEGO version of this era-appropriate Batsuit is, as you can see in the trailer below, a bit more playful than the dark tone of that comic, in keeping with the LEGO theme.

Check out IGN’s hands-on impressions of Legacy of the Dark Knight, plus 31 minutes of gameplay. LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will be released on all platforms on May 22.
