Gundam is getting a flashy new action game with Gundam Rogue Orbit, coming 2027

Gundam Rogue Orbit has been revealed with an exciting new gameplay trailer at Summer Game Fest.

Developed by Bandai Namco and aiming for a 2027 release date, the game will be a third-person action game where players will be able to take control of a Gundam of their own. Shooting and cutting through sci-fi creatures – looks cool!

This is far from the first Gundam game released, but it certainly is the first we’ve seen take a major western showcase stage in some time. The last time we saw a big Gundam release was Gundam Evolution, which sadly shut down in 2023.

Still, this game looks exciting enough, and who doesn’t love a bit of Gundam? It’s due to be released on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and Steam. You can wishlist it today.
