Layoffs Hit Crossfire Developer That’s No Moon

In yet another sweep of layoffs within the gaming space, Crossfire developer That’s No Moon has axed an as-yet undetermined number of staff.

Now-former employees began posting about the situation on their LinkedIn profiles on August 6, confirming that they were affected by layoffs at the studio. Roles impacted appear to have included technical and environmental artists.

That’s No Moon was founded in 2021 by industry vets from powerhouse developers like Naughty Dog and Infinity Ward. Based in Los Angeles, it revealed its first AAA project, Crossfire, at Summer Game Fest 2026.
