You can now check if you’ve been selected for The Duskbloods network test – here’s how

The Duskbloods, the next game from Elden Ring, Dark Souls, and Bloodborne creator FromSoftware, is hosting its first-ever public test later this month. The network test, as the developer calls it, was always intended to be limited, meaning not everyone who signed up will get to play.

If you already signed up in July when registration opened, you may now find out whether or not you’ve made it in. The network test’s page on the game’s official website now has an option to show selection results. Simply click the three-line menu in the top right corner, log in to your Nintendo account, and come back for the results.

The two options are plain: either you see ‘you were selected to participate’ or the much less desirable ‘you were not selected to participate’. That’s about all you can do on the website right now, but you should bookmark it because you’re going to need it soon.

On 18th August at 6am PT, 9am ET, 2pm BST you’ll need to return to the same website to actually get your code, which you’ll be able to redeem on Nintendo’s website. The test itself doesn’t start for a few more days, because this process hasn’t been needlessly complicated enough.

The Duskblood’s network test runs 21st to 24th August in five different sessions, so plan ahead. Here’s the schedule the developer shared last month:

  • 21st August (Fri) at 11:00 to 15:00 BST.
  • 22nd August (Sat) at 03:00 to 07:00 BST.
  • 22nd August (Sat) at 19:00 to 23:00 BST.
  • 23rd August (Sun) at 11:00 to 15:00 BST.
  • 24th August (Mon) at 03:00 to 07:00 BST.

The Duskbloods is seemingly still set for release at some point this year, though neither Nintendo nor FromSoft have hinted at a release window. It’s possible the pair are waiting on the results of the network test before committing to a firm date.
