Dozy Pokémon Slowpoke Just Got a New Move, And It’s Called ‘All-You-Can-Yeet’

Are you ready to yet your Pokémon Trading Cards away in the name of Slowpoke? A new card for the dozy creature has captured fan’s attention for its unusual new move.

The Slowpoke card (029/084) from fresh TCG expansion Pitch Black has an intriguing move named All-You-Can-Yeet, a new creation that certainly doesn’t feature in the mainline Pokémon games.

Requiring a single Psychic energy, All-You-Can-Yeet allows you to discard any number of cards from your hand, priming your discard pile or emptying your hand for combo cards. (Thievul’s Skill Thief relies on your own hand being empty, for example.)

But it’s the move’s name which has caught the eye of players, and its use of the slang word yet which, honestly, I hadn’t heard used in a little while. Generally judged to mean toss or throw, I remember yeeting being a thing in Fall Guys during its peak, and haven’t really heard it since.

This isn’t the first time that the TCG has indulged in a bit of wordplay, either, as the set’s Banette card features an ability named Hide ‘n’ Sneak.

If you’re keen to delve into Pitch Black yourself, IGN has a guide to the top 10 most valuable Pokémon TCG: Pitch Black cards, and details of where to pre-order Pokémon TCG: Pitch Black sets. This latest expansion’s release comes amid the continued explosion in popularity of Pokémon cards, with The Pokémon Company manufacturing an astonishing 10 billion cards in 2025 alone — more cards than the number of people on the planet, and still nowhere near enough to meet demand.

Last month, Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa said The Pokémon Company would “take measures” to deal with the rampant card shortages and online scalping, though stopped short of mentioning anything specific. In the meantime, the past year alone has seen countless instances of trading card stores being targeted by thieves. Hide ‘n’ Sneak indeed.
