EA Sports FC 26 Preorders Score a Huge Discount at Currys, This is the Best Deal Before Launch

EA Sports FC 26 launches September 26, but you can already score a big win at Currys. Right now, preorders for the Standard Edition have dropped from the £69.99 RRP down to £62.99, and you can take an extra 10% off with code EAFC2610. That brings the price down to just £56.69 on PS5 and Xbox.

The same code works on Nintendo versions, too. The Switch edition falls from £49.99 to £44.99, while the upcoming Switch 2 version drops from £54.99 to £49.49. With most retailers still holding firm at full price, this is the best preorder offer available ahead of launch.

If you opt for the Xbox version, Currys is also throwing in a discount on Xbox Controllers for £39.99 as well. Preordering also nets you some other handy extras.

The Standard Edition includes Career Mode bonuses like three Icon players for Manager Career, a five-star coach and scout, one Archetype unlock consumable, double XP for 10 matches, and access to the new Manager Live Challenge. You’ll also get new FUT rewards in FC 25, including a 93+ Icon Player Pick and a special Evolution item that boosts any player’s shooting stat to 99.

For players who want early access, the Ultimate Edition remains the premium choice. It unlocks on September 19, comes with up to 6,000 FC Points, a Season 1 Premium Pass and more exclusive content.

If you’re simply after the best deal, Currys’ code EAFC2610 gets you FC 26 at its lowest preorder price yet: just £56.69 on PS5/Xbox, £44.99 on Switch, and £49.49 on Switch 2. For those preordering the standard edition, it’ll arrive September 26.

I reviewed FC 25 last year, and gave it a 6/10, saying: “EA Sports FC 25 delivers a few bright spots, like the fun and refreshing Rush mode, but stagnating gameplay and incremental improvements leave it feeling like EA continues to play it too safe.”

I’m hoping that in FC 26, EA is truly stepping up their game for the new season.
