March on Xbox Game Pass is a whopper, boasting Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Planet of Lana 2 and more

Microsoft has announced the Xbox Game Pass titles for March and it’s a bumper month. The headline additions are Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Hollow Knight: Silksong (for Game Pass Ultimate) and Planet of Lana 2.

Could this overly generous crop have anything to do with the recent Xbox leadership reshuffle, I wonder? Regardless, March on Xbox Game Pass goes as follows:

Available today

  • Final Fantasy 3 (Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, and PC) – Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, PC Game Pass
  • Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 (Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, and PC) – Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, PC Game Pass

Coming soon

  • to a T (Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, and PC) – March 4 – Game Pass Premium; joining Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass
  • EA Sports F1 25 (Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, and PC) – March 4 – Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass
  • Planet of Lana 2: Children of the Leaf (Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, Handheld, and PC) – March 5 – Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass
  • Construction Simulator (Cloud, Console, and PC) – March 10 – Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, PC Game Pass
  • Cyberpunk 2077 (Cloud and Console) – March 10 – Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium
  • Hollow Knight: Silksong (Cloud, Console, Handheld, and PC) – March 12 – Now with Game Pass Premium; joining Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass
  • DreamWorks Gabby’s Dollhouse: Ready to Party (Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, and PC) – March 17 – Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, PC Game Pass

There are also some in-game Call of Duty: Warzone bits and bobs coming free for Game Pass members on 13th March.

Leaving Xbox Game Pass on 15th March is the wonderfully named He is Coming, alongside Mythwrecked, Enter the Gungeon, and a couple of others I don’t think you’ll miss.

As mentioned above, Xbox had a major leadership reshuffle at the end of February, which saw long-time leader Phil Spencer retire and his deputy Sarah Bond also suddenly depart. In their place came Asha Sharma, heralding from Microsoft’s CoreAI division, who has promised to reverse Xbox’s fortunes. But her lack of personal gaming experience and corporate gaming experience has made people sceptical. Game Pass, of course, is one of the initiatives she’ll have to deal with. Her message for the time being has been to watch and learn, before making any major future-facing decisions.
