The in-demand Lego Pokémon Kanto Region Badge Collection can now be built using bricks you own with newly released official instructions

There are now official instructions for how to build your own Lego Pokémon Kanto Region Badge Collection so you don’t have to pay hundreds of pounds in order to own it.

Lego and Nintendo debuted three sets from their Pokémon collaboration earlier this year, the biggest and most expensive being the Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise model, which cost roughly £600, comprised 6838 pieces, and came with a Lego Pokémon Kanto Region as a bonus.

However, soon after this particular model was revealed, many took to social media to say they would actually quite like to just buy the Lego Pokémon Kanto Region Badge Collection, which was offered as a gift-with-purchase for pre-orders of the Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise set. Subsequently and unsurprisingly, the Kanto Region Badge Collection Lego set then started appearing on resale sites for upwards of £100. This was despite Lego itself valuing it at around £25.

Thankfully, Lego has now released instructions for how to build the Lego Pokémon Kanto Region Badge Collection without actually purchasing the pre-packaged set. The 80 page PDF – which you can find here – lists all 312 bricks that you will need. If you don’t already have these bricks to hand, you can go to Lego’s Pick-a-Brick webpage to order any missing pieces. This will be significantly cheaper than trying to get the set via the likes of eBay, which is a definite win. So, will you be building the set yourself now?

The Lego x Pokémon partnership was first teased back in March, 2025. Other Nintendo-themed Lego sets include The Legend of Zelda’s Great Deku Tree, a Lego Game Boy model and Lego Bowser, to name a few.

More recently, Nintendo and Lego released a Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time-themed set, known as The Final Battle. This set features Ganon’s crumbling castle from the final moments of Ocarina of Time, and includes minifigures of Link, Zelda and Ganondorf.
