A speedrunner has come across a little known – if known at all – Easter egg tucked away within Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune.
The first Uncharted game, which introduced us charismatic treasure hunter Nathan Drake along with his mentor Victor “Goddamn” Sullivan and Elena Fisher, first released on PS3 in November 2007. It went on to spawn one of PlayStation’s most recognisable franchises, with graphic novels, mobile games and films all to its name.

Anyway, Drake’s Fortune released 18 years ago, but while it can now legally hop down to its local for a pint, it seems it has still been keeping a secret from us. Well, it had been until now, when speedrunner Panzerdeer came across an Easter egg by using the debug menu in Chapter 19 to head out of bounds.
When Panzerdeer headed out of bounds in this chapter, they came across an image featuring 16 ‘mugshots’ of who we can assume to be members of the Drake’s Fortune development team. Names on the folders being held up by the Naughty Dog crew include the likes of Cor-Upted and BigDaddy.
This Easter egg exists in both the PS3 and PS4 versions of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, and it is very tricky to find. But, you can check out how to do it via Panzerdeer‘s YouTube video below.
Drake and Elena’s story wrapped in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, with fellow treasure hunter Chloe Frazer then getting her own game in Lost Legacy. These two most recent chapters got a PS5 rerelease in 2022, packaged up as the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves collection. The games went on to arrive on PC later that same year.
