Xbox confirms five games leaving Game Pass in early November

Microsoft has revealed the next batch of titles set to leave its Game Pass subscription service.

Come 15th November, the following the following titles will be removed from Game Pass:

  • Football Manager 24
  • Spirittea
  • Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl
  • Blacksmith Master (Game Preview)
  • Frostpunk

If you are interested in any of the above games, now is your last chance to play them via Game Pass (at least for now, they may well be re-added at a later date).

There are some notable titles here, including Frostpunk. “A thrilling but thin survival twist on the city builder genre, oozing dark charisma and political dilemmas,” reads Eurogamer’s Frostpunk review from 2018.

Stalker 2, meanwhile, only made its debut on the service last year, when the game was released on Xbox and PC following a rather tumultuous period for developer GSC Game World. Stalker 2 was delayed several times due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The studio relocated staff to safely finish the project elsewhere, while others joined Ukraine’s armed forces, and it also dealt with Russian hackers who leaked test builds. GSC went on to release a documentary detailing Stalker 2’s particularly difficult development.

Heart of Chornobyl “stays faithful to the open world survival shooter of yesteryear,” reads Eurogamer’s Stalker 2 review.
