Ghost of Yotei’s Soundtrack on Vinyl Is Up for Preorder

Ghost of Yotei’s Soundtrack on Vinyl Is Up for Preorder

For those who fell in love with Ghost of Yotei’s soundtrack, it’s set to get a vinyl release this year on June 12. What’s even better is it’s currently available to preorder for $49.98 (see it here at Amazon), and, in my opinion, it looks like a vibrant addition to any vinyl collection.

If its bright yellow LPs have caught your eye, now is the time to get a preorder in. As is the case with many items up for preorder, they can sell out quicker than you’d expect. So, better to secure it now for yourself rather than miss out.

These LPs aren’t just a standard yellow, either. They’re actually gold shimmer vinyls which stands out beautifully from this collection’s white and black cover art. On the inside, you’ll find an exclusive illustration of the Yōtei Six as well, which you can see in closer detail below. Plus, it comes with a 12-inch insert that features special artwork, liner notes, and credits.

Below, you can see a full breakdown of the tracks from the game, composed by Toma Otowa, that are available on each disc.

Personally, I really enjoy Ghost of Yotei, especially its music and how its woven into the game’s story. In general, IGN’s Michael Higham enjoyed the game as well. His 8/10 review said: “A predictable but well-executed story takes you through Ghost of Yotei’s gorgeous landscapes and satisfying, fluid action – it may not be revolutionizing open world games, but it’s a great distillation of the samurai fantasy.”

As someone who’s a big fan of video game vinyls like this, I love keeping an eye out for new ones from games that I love. If you’re looking for more to add to your collection alongside Ghost of Yotei’s, check out the IGN Store’s vinyl collection page to see some more exciting picks worth preordering right now.
