Invincible Vs is finally here, and already, the dataminers are hard at work, uncovering clues that they believe point to which unannounced characters could pop up next in a future update or DLC.
As spotted by Twitter/X user MultiverSusie, hidden audio lines hint at who Mark Grayson may be bumping into as the game progresses. And while we already knew that Immortal and Universa were on the way, this new audio also uncovers some unannounced appearances, including the Mauler Twins, Agent Spider, Damien Darkblood, Oliver, Angstrom, Dinosaurus, and Volcanikka.
That’s not all, though. We’ve also been treated to unreleased Invincible Vs skins for Angstrom, Anissa (Undercover), Bulletproof (Invincible Inc.), Cecil (Agent Stedman), DupliKate (Comic), and Immortal (thanks, IGN). Angstrom, in particular, has been reported by some fans as feeling “a lot more finished” than other characters, perhaps teasing that we’ll see them sooner rather than later.
ICYMI, following Invincible Vs’ successful open beta, the developers at Quarter Up recently addressed the rage-quitting problem that was plaguing the game’s public test.
Invincible Vs is out now. In our preview last year, we said: “In a limited build with only a handful of characters and stages available, it’s already clear that there’s a foundation for something special here.”
