Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition Has Dropped on Apple Arcade

Football fans, and Apple users, get ready to enjoy Madden NFL 27 on your favorite device. Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition is now live on Apple Arcade, allowing you to enjoy all of the on-field action with no ads, no in-app purchases, no currencies, and no paywalls.

However, it’s worth noting that you need an Apple Arcade subscription in order to play. If you aren’t signed up, it’s just $6.99/month, and new subscribers even get a one-month free trial. Or, if you’ve just treated yourself to a brand new Apple device, you’ll get to enjoy three months of Apple Arcade for free. That’s a pretty sweet trial period to test it out.

According to Apple’s press release for this exciting launch, “Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition delivers the pure football experience players seek, a complete Madden NFL game free from ads or in-app purchases.” It continues on to say, “With seamless controller support across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV, Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition brings players closer to the action exactly how they want to play, wherever they are.”

With Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition, you’ll be able to lead and coach your team through the season. The store page highlights quite a lot that you’ll get to do in it, including Quick Play, Franchise Mode, and much more. Plus, as part of your Apple Arcade subscription, you won’t have to deal with ads, in-app purchases, currencies, packs, or paywalls.

To build on top of what you’ll be able to do in the Arcade Edition, EA’s announcement for this launch also adds that players will “experience the same 11-on-11 gameplay Madden NFL Mobile fans know” while also “keeping their team on track throughout the season.” On top of that, Arcade Edition also “fully supports controllers”, which is a first on mobile. That makes it easy to navigate, especially if you’re playing on Apple TV.

Can’t wait to jump in on your favorite Apple device? Give Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition a try on Apple Arcade and enjoy virtual kickoff without the annoyance of ads.
