Z-A Deal — Switch 2 Games Drop to Just $32 Each

Z-A Deal — Switch 2 Games Drop to Just $32 Each

Both Metroid Prime 4 Beyond and Pokémon Legends Z-A are down to just $31.99 when using the promo code GAMER20 at Woot right now. It’s a limited-time deal, with the code expiring at 11:58 p.m. CT today, August 17, leaving you very little time to make the most of it.

The only catch? These are both “Grade A Refurbished” copies of the games. But before you get disappointed and leave in a grump, let me tell you why that truly doesn’t matter.

This is part of Woot’s Summer of Gaming sale, with the brand new code recently going live for savvy shoppers to take advantage of. These are undoubtedly the best deals going in the sale, especially for Switch 2 games, even if it is for a “refurb”.

While “refurbished” might put some off (and really, it shouldn’t in this economy; none of us can afford to be picky), there really isn’t anything to worry about.

Woot says this about its “refurbished” label on these: “This item has been inspected and guaranteed to have minimal cosmetic damage, which is not noticeable when the device is held at arm’s length & has successfully passed a full diagnostic test which ensures like-new functionality. Included accessories are OEM and the product is packaged in a retail box.”

You’re basically getting a new game at a remarkable discount price, with some minor cosmetic damage to the box, so there’s no arguments to be had on whether or not this is worth it. Snap them up ASAP, as you won’t see prices like these again for a while.

Plus, in a time when gaming is more expensive than ever, and where physical game media is under threat itself, it’s especially nice to be buying physical games that will always stay in your collection, no matter what.

Nintendo Switch games are where you’ll find some of the biggest bargains as part of Woot’s latest sale, that include Tomodachi Life for $42.39, Mario & Luigi: Brothership for $19.92, and Super Mario Galaxy 1+2 for $42.39, one of the best prices we’ve seen on that.

I can easily pick out plenty of other deals I’d truly recommend grabbing before the code disappears as well. Check out my top picks just below, or head over to the full Woot sale to browse everything available.

Here’s a couple of bonus deals for those who have made it to the end of the article.

Right now, the $10 Nintendo eShop Gift Card (Digital Code) is down to just $8.53 at Amazon, saving you 15% on your purchase. The only caveat is that you need to be a Prime member to take advantage of the new deal.

You can buy up to two gift cards per order, making it easy to grab one for yourself and another as a gift, or simply bank some extra credit for upcoming releases.

There’s also Final Fantasy VII Rebirth for Nintendo Switch 2, which is also on sale today for $34.99 at Amazon. This physical version of the game includes an exclusive Zack Fair Magic: The Gathering – Final Fantasy card, which is perfect for fans and collectors alike.

If you’ve yet to experience this massive RPG, take a chance and pick up a copy this weekend at a discount. It’s pretty great exploring beyond Midgar on the Switch 2, just saying.

More Switch 2 News

Nintendo has begun displaying in-store warnings of its impending Switch 2 price increase.

As announced earlier this year, the Switch 2 will rise in cost on September 1 in the U.S., U.K., and mainland Europe. In Nintendo’s homeland of Japan, this price rise has already taken effect.

A photo shared on reddit shows a screen warning shoppers that “the suggested retail price of the Nintendo Switch 2 system will increase to $499.99 on September 1,” with the caveat that the “actual price may vary” between retailers.

Upcoming Switch 2 game launches in 2026 include Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave on September 17, Switch Sports Resort on October 22, and the new Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake before the end of this year.

2027 titles already announced include Xenoblade Genesis, plus Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves. That’s on top of the huge Nintendo Switch game catalog, of course, which is backwards compatible.
