Breath of the Wild Nintendo Switch Deal — Lowest Price Ever

Breath of the Wild Nintendo Switch Deal — Lowest Price Ever

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has, by some miracle, fallen below $40 in the recent Nintendo Summer Sales. While Digital copies of the game are going for as cheap as $42 at Amazon and Nintendo, the real discounts can be found at Amazon’s sister site, Woot.

Woot’s Summer of Gaming Sale is where you can find physical copies of Breath of the Wild down to $35.99, $8 cheaper than buying digitally. I love Woot as a retailer, as it really feels like you can score some genuinely decent offers, especially on Nintendo Switch games.

For those looking to play on Switch 2 (see our updated BOTW review for the new console here), the upgraded edition is on sale for $49 via Amazon or Nintendo, just like the standard version.

This is still a good deal, but our attention should instead turn to the Switch 2 Upgrade Pack, which can be bought separately for Breath of the Wild. It’s currently down to $7 (30% drop from $10 list price).

BOTW – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Upgrade Pack

You’ll already see where I’m going with this: picking up Breath of the Wild at Woot for $36 and combining it with the discounted upgrade pack for $7, means you’re getting the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition for $43 total. That’s $6 less than the current sale price, and a total of $27 off the $70 list price for the game.

This is genuinely the cheapest I’ve ever seen the game, and it’s unheard of for BOTW to drop further than $40, so this is a true bargain.

Quick reminder, however, that if you have the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack, you can actually upgrade your Switch copy to the Switch 2 Edition at no extra cost. So at $36, Breath of the Wild becomes a certified deal no matter which way you look at it.

Nintendo Summer Sale – Even More Deals

BOTW isn’t the only thing with steep discounts this summer either, as there are also plenty of discounts to be found on Switch 2 games, accessories, and more.

That even includes games like Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, Super Mario Galaxy 1+2, Mario Tennis Fever, and more, all down to all-time low prices for Switch 2. There’s also Switch 2 memory cards down to just $39 for a limited time.

Plus, if you haven’t picked up a Switch 2 yet, the “Switch 2: Choose Your Own Game Bundle” remains the best-value console deal of the summer. I’m cheating a little bit here, as this is an ongoing deal, but it remains one of the best, and probably the most affordable, console offer of 2026 so far.
