Chaos Rising ETB Sealed In Stock — Best Deal at Amazon and TCGplayer

Chaos Rising ETB Sealed In Stock — Best Deal at Amazon and TCGplayer

Amazon has restocked the Pokémon TCG: Chaos Rising Elite Trainer Box, and it’s down to market price as well. Right now, Prime members can grab it for just £79.99, making it one of the cheapest ways to pick up the latest expansion without relying on marketplace sellers.

Considering Chaos Rising ETBs are currently selling for around $75-80 on TCGplayer (not including delivery), Amazon’s £79.99 price is right in the sweet spot. You’re paying close to the going market rate, but with the added benefit of buying directly from Amazon. If you’ve got Prime for free, and fast delivery, or some Amazon gift cards sitting in your account, this is a particularly solid pickup.

Unlike launch week, when prices quickly shot well above MSRP as demand surged, the market has now settled down considerably. That makes this one of the better opportunities to grab an ETB without paying inflated reseller prices or worrying about marketplace shipping fees and seller reputation.

I also want to emphasize that this is “sold and shipped” directly from Amazon itself, and not via any third-party sellers. Yet, no matter how unfortunate it is, this is often the price you have to pay now, even from big retailers like Amazon. But is it worth it? Only you can be the judge of that.

The market price is often dictated by what the majority of people are willing to pay, but only you can decide if this if truely worth your money. As always, it’s still worth checking your local game store as well, especially if you’re hoping to support independent retailers or find one closer to MSRP.

As for what’s inside, the Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution, Chaos Rising Elite Trainer Box includes nine Chaos Rising booster packs, a full-art foil promo card, 65 card sleeves, 40 Energy cards, a player’s guide, a competition-legal coin-flip die, six damage-counter dice, a plastic coin, a collector’s storage box with dividers, and a code card for Pokémon Trading Card Game Live.

Chaos Rising has also proven to be one of the more approachable recent Pokémon TCG expansions for collectors. According to TCGTalks, around 42.3% of packs contain an ex card or better, while full-art cards appear in roughly 8.3% of packs, around two to three per booster box. Compared to massive sets like Ascended Heroes, which featured 295 standard cards, Chaos Rising’s 122-card set list makes completing the collection feel far more achievable.

Chaos Rising isn’t the only expansion getting restocked and discounted at Amazon right now.

In particular, Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Boxes remain some of the most highly sought-after sealed booster sets for Pokémon TCG. Market price still sits at over $210 via trusted resale sites like TCGplayer and eBay, and there’s even been a +28.45% spike in interest in just the past month alone.

But if you’re willing to pay over MSRP but under market price, Amazon has just restocked the ETBs and listed them for $179. That’s over $30 in savings compared to TCGplayer, and it even allows you to use any Amazon gift cards or additional credit you may have built up as well.
