Battlestate Games has confirmed its first major crossover event is on the way, and it’s with Escape from Duckov.
It’s currently unknown how the fan-favourite spin-off crossover will unfold in Tarkov, but the team behind Duckov has shared that from 10th February, it’ll host a Tarkov-inspired map, a mount system, and “festival content”. You’ll also get to face off against “classic characters” from Escape from Tarkov, too.
Tarkov devs, on the other hand, have only shared this image, which features a crying duckie and the text: “Wanna have a party?” Which we do, of course.

Without anything else to go on it’s hard to be definitive about what to expect, but given Duckov’s collab kicks off in February, it’s plausible that Tarkov’s event will, too. We’ll keep you posted.
You’ll remember that Escape from Duckov – which debuted on Steam shortly before Tarkov’s long-anticipated Steam release late last year – took us by storm as well as surprise, clocking up a staggering 301,322 concurrent players at release, making it one of the biggest games on Steam ever. Since then, numbers have tapered off somewhat, but it apparently still very much made an impression on Battlestate.
Escape from Tarkov is still sitting on a Mixed rating after November’s eagerly-awaited Steam debut resulted in stability and performance issues that prevented players from even logging in, let alone play.
