Fallout 4 and Indiana Jones Switch 2 release dates leak ahead of Nintendo Direct

The Switch 2 release dates for both Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and Fallout 4 have leaked.

We are less than an hour away from Nintendo’s upcoming Partner Direct, and it seems two of the planned announcements have broken free ahead of schedule. As shared by the ever reliable billbil-kun of Dealabs, Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition will launch its physical edition with a digital download code on 28th April. This chap will retail for $59.99/€59.99, billbil-kun said, though they did not offer UK pricing.

Meanwhile, the insider added Fallout 4 could arrive digitally via the Nintendo eShop, before then, with billbil-kun suggesting later today isn’t out of the question. If this does prove accurate, it wouldn’t be too surprising – after all, the acclaimed Fallout adaptation on Amazon has just wrapped its second season, so Bethesda and co would likely want to capitalise on the interest around the franchise as a whole.

As for Indy, well apparently The Great Circle will arrive on Switch 2 on 12th May, retailing for €69.99 / $69.99. I would absolutely recommend giving this game a shot, if you haven’t already done so.

“Smart, fun and so very Indiana Jones, The Great Circle is a stealth action tour de force that marks a bold new era for MachineGames,” reads our original five star review from 2024.

To top it all off, a physical Switch 2 version of Skyrim Anniversary Edition is also said to be coming. According to billbil-kun, this will be released on 28th April. I will update this story once the Direct is live, and we get confirmation.

Our Bertie is currently hosting a live-blog for the upcoming Nintendo Direct, so be sure to join in with the chat over there. What else do you hope to see coming to Switch 2 this afternoon? I am rooting for an Elden Ring release date, and more from The Duskbloods. Not too much longer until we find out if my wish will be granted…!
