Square Enix has finally revealed Final Fantasy VII Remake part three, called Revelation. It’s due out simultaneously across Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store in spring 2027.

Revelation concludes the Final Fantasy VII remake trilogy, following Final Fantasy VII remake’s release in 2020, and Rebirth’s release in 2024.

Square Enix announced Revelation at Summer Game Fest alongside a debut trailer showing the game’s cast of now familiar characters in the nation of Wutai. We also learned that Vincent Valentine and Cid Highwind are playable characters alongside Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Red XIII, Yuffie, Cait Sith.

Here’s everything announced at Summer Game Fest 2026 if you need a catch up on what the video game industry has in store.
