LEGO Batman Mayhem DLC Trailer Coming to IGN’s gamescom Show

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight’s upcoming DLC won’t be out for another month, but you can get a sneak preview very soon. A brand-new trailer for the game’s Mayhem Collection DLC will be shown exclusively during IGN’s gamescom Studio programming this coming Wednesday, August 26.

The game, from TT Games and Warner Bros. Games, released this past May. According to our review it features “a strong open-world Gotham and trademark Lego slapstick humour (powering) a fantastic plastic parody of Batman’s greatest hits.” The Mayhem Collection DLC comes out September 18 and is included for players who purchased the LEGO Batman’s Deluxe Edition.

According to LEGO, the Mayhem Collection features “The Joker and Harley Quinn as playable characters, each with their own abilities and gadgets, along with a new story mission, new Mayhem Mode, new outfits for the original playable characters, new Batcave items, and a new Batmobile.”

In addition to a new trailer, IGN’s gamescom programming will feature a deep-dive interview with LEGO Batman’s Lead Designer Tim Spence and and Advanced Designer Chris Payne, who will be on hand to break down what players can expect when the DLC launches in a few weeks.

Fans can catch both the trailer and the interview close to the beginning of IGN’s gamescom Studio Wednesday broadcast at 6am PT / 9am ET / 3pm CEST on August 26.

IGN’s gamescom programming runs throughout the week and also features exclusive looks at major games including Fable, Control Resonant, Dune: Awakening, Crimson Desert, Persona 4 Revival, Alien: Isolation 2, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, and many more.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is available now for Windows, PS5, and XBOX Series X/S. The game launches September 18 on Nintendo Switch 2.
