It looks like Star Wars: Galactic Racer will release on 6th October, 2026.
While a gander on the Steam store still only hints at an achingly-vague 2026 release window, it appears that someone inadvertently updated the pre-order bonus info a little prematurely, revealing what appears to be the release date in October.
Though complete speculation at this point, some fans wonder if the asset was uploaded in advance of a formal announcement scheduled for Star Wars day, 4th May (or May the 4th, of course).
As for what you get on the deluxe edition? It looks as though pre-orders of the standard edition will come with the base game and pre-order player banner and pre-order livery, while deluxe owners will also get a digital art book, three exclusive repulsorcraft, deluxe livery, three unique arcade events, and a deluxe player banner.
You can see the liveries and banners below, along with confirmation of the release date.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer, was announced at last year’s The Game Awards. It’s described as a “runs-based, high-stakes reinvention of racing born in the lawless Outer Rim of the Star Wars galaxy.”
“With the Empire gone and the galaxy rebuilding, The Galactic League is formed: an underground, unsanctioned circuit where syndicates bankroll chaos and champions are forged. No Force. No prophecy. Just skill, strategy, and the will to rise.”
