This adventure reimagines the 2000 classic with 3D-scanned physical dolls to create a unique, almost diorama-like art style. I don’t think it is a stretch to call Octopath Traveler 0 one of the best RPGs of 2025. This game is jam-packed with content, with Square Enix reimagining some of the storyline from Champions of the Continent as a single-player experience on consoles. During Prime Day, you can pick up a copy for $34.99, a steal considering this game easily has over 100 hours of content. Octopath Traveler is a standalone game, so you can jump in and experience this RPG even if its your first time checking out the series.

Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake was such a joy to experience in 2024, as it reimagined one of the most legendary RPGs ever in a brilliant way. For Prime Day, you can score a copy for only $24.99. It’s a surprisingly meaty experience, with the 100% completion taking around 70 hours in my experience. This is an excellent game to pack and play on the go on the Nintendo Switch, and you can even take advantage of a free update for the Switch 2 to experience enhanced resolution and frame rate.
Pre-Order Upcoming Square Enix Games
Finally, upcoming Square Enix games are also available to pre-order. This includes the Kingdom Hearts Collection [I-III] for the Switch 2 and PS5, which packs in every Kingdom Hearts game besides Melody of Memory.
