Amazon Prime Day badge surrounded by PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC accessories on a purple background

These are the 28 best Prime Day deals for gamers in 2025 – all the PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC sales I’d actually buy starting from just $6.99

I use these earbuds every day, and they’re finally on sale

SteelSeries Arctis Game Buds | $199.99 $147.99 at Amazon

The SteelSeries Arctis Game Buds have become a staple of both my PC setup and my dog walking routine. With excellent audio, both Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless connections, and a sturdy battery life I’ve abandoned my AirPods for them all together.

That’s why I’ve been watching that price like a hawk this Prime Day and finally my efforts have paid off. The Xbox version (compatible across all consoles and PC) is now down to $147.99 at Amazon, a record breaking $52 discount overall. Did I mention these are also the best gaming earbuds we’ve tested so far?

Meta Quest 3S (128GB) | $299.99 $249.99 at Amazon

The Meta Quest 3S has generally only ever shipped with Batman, but now you can grab it with the Gorilla Tag Cardboard Hero bundle for $50 off. Considering the headset itself has only ever hit $269.99 in previous sales, and it’s one of the best VR headsets Duncan has tested so far, that’s a must-see.

Amazon just beat Walmart’s price on this budget Razer mouse

Razer Basilisk V3

Razer Basilisk V3 | $69.99 $36.08 at Amazon

The Razer Basilisk V3 is a must-see for me, every Prime Day. That’s because this is already the best value gaming mouse I’ve tested so far, and it’s no stranger to additional discounts. Walmart was winning this race for the first few days of the sale, offering the V3 at $39 where Amazon was nearly a buck more expensive. With a few extra dollars off the final price today though, Bezos is fighting back.

Amazon is putting much less emphasis on Lightning Deals this year

I’ve just had a scroll through the Prime Day Deals landing page, and I’ve finally put my finger on what feels different. In years gone by, I’ve always had to fend off a big old banner of lightning deals at the top of the page. This year? It’s gone.

Sure, you’ll see the odd countdown on a ‘trending deal’ at the top of the page, but there’s no stack of rotating savings to scroll through. I’m not complaining, these offers were generally pretty poor in previous years – it seems Amazon might have got the memo.

My number one top tip: price check

I know I know, Amazon’s looking pretty good right now – but not for everything. While gaming mice, keyboards, and headsets are all shining on those shelves today, other categories are falling behind. I’m seeing much better Prime Day deals on gaming laptops, PC components, controllers, and storage devices at other stores. Best Buy, Newegg, and Walmart are winning in certain areas and on certain products.

That’s why it’s so important to price match before you head to checkout.

PSA: I’m seeing a lot more Prime-only deals this year

Yeah, you’ve always needed a Prime membership for the truly outstanding Prime Day deals – but previous years have allowed plenty of regular savings to slip the net as well. That’s not quite so true for 2025.

I’m seeing that Prime-only badge on a lot more discounts than usual at the moment, and retailers like Walmart and Best Buy aren’t keeping up. This might be the first Amazon Prime Day where a Prime membership is actually needed to take part properly.

I’m still seeing new Prime Day deals landing

Amazon is still launching new Prime Day deals on day three of this year’s event, though newer offers are a little less exciting than the day-one blockbusters I’m highlighting up top. Newer savings are hitting cheaper PS5 games like Spongebob Squarepant: The Patrick Star Game (now $17.94) and a range of Glorious’s tech (most notably, the Glorious Model D Wireless gaming mouse, now $37.99).

Will more offers follow? Looking at the shelves right now, I’m a little more optimistic that we’ll continue to see new Prime Day deals dropping through the course of today. Amazon generally reserves a few discounts for the last moments of its sale, but it never drops them too late. If you need a little more inspiration, it’s worth sticking around for today – I’m anticipating fewer new drops tomorrow.

PSA: Best Buy isn’t price matching Prime Day deals

Best Buy external storefront

Best Buy usually price matches with Amazon’s offers, which can be handy if you want to pick something up in-store on the day itself. However, there’s one exclusion that means none of this week’s Prime Day deals are included in the offer.

The Best Buy Price Match Guarantee FAQs state that any deal that is “only available to select groups of customers including Membership Program members” is exempt from its service. If you need a Prime membership to access a deal, Best Buy won’t be matching your price.

This gaming mouse is also a Stream Deck

Seriously, the Corsair Scimitar Elite Wireless SE is my favorite MMO mouse on the market right now, and not just because its 12-button side array is particularly well tensioned to avoid accidental keypresses. No, the wide-base rodent can also be used as a full Virtual Stream Deck – a fantastic feature for both streamers and productivity powerhouses.

It’s currently down to $89.99 for the first time in its life, and considering this is a recent release that’s not a very long life at all. I’ve only ever seen it at $99.99 once in the past, during a brief flash sale.

This Prime Day deal will give your Switch a TV boost

mClassic dongle sitting on top of Nintendo Switch with Super Mario Odyssey on screen

(Image credit: Future / Phil Hayton)

Marseille mClassic Switch edition | $99.99 $74.99 at Amazon

I’ve joked in the past saying the mClassic is like life support for the original Nintendo Switch. That’s perhaps a bit harsh on the old handheld, but what it will do for under $80 is upscale your visuals and smooth out some of the rough textures the portable puts out in TV mode. This is a record low price on the dongle, and the new blue version boasts a specific anti-aliasing algorithm for the OG Switch.

A knightly deal

Games like Fable: a group of soldiers during the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 trailer.

One of the games that impressed us most this year was Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and would you look at that? It’s currently a lot less as part of 2025’s Prime Day gaming deals – you can grab it for $37.99 at Amazon rather than $60+. Lovely stuff.

Packaged and competitively priced

Here’s a case in point to back up that last comment on Switch 2 stuff; one of the best offers I’ve seen for Ninty’s new console isn’t actually the console itself, but on a case for it. You can grab the Orzly case for just $23.52 at Amazon, down from $35. Because Orzly is such a well-respected brand, that’s an absolute bargain.

Switch 2, where are you?

Nintendo Switch 2

Can we expect to see any Switch 2-shaped price cuts as part of the Prime Day gaming discounts? Unfortunately, I doubt it. Getting the console at all is hard enough right now and stock is elusive, so the best we can hope for is a reduction on accessories (non-official ones though, I can’t imagine Nintendo will allow savings so soon) and games.

If I had to pick anything from this year’s Prime Day gaming deals, I’d likely take a look at securing a new mouse. Although I adore my trusty ol’ pointer, it’s seen better days and could probably do with a refresh. If you’re in the same boat, worry not – there are plenty of offers available right now for gaming-specific mice.

Sound off, pals – have you managed to secure any good deals as part of this year’s Prime Day gaming discounts? If you’ve bought a bargain or secured something that’s been languishing on your wishlist for ages, let us know in the comments below.

Into the shadows

The latest Assassin’s Creed game has done an eagle dive to $47.49 at Amazon, so if you’ve yet to try the Japan-based adventure, now’s your chance. For our money, this is one of the best entries in the series for a while.

Squeak squeak

I’ve always been a fan of gaming accessories, and mice are amongst my favorite. You can currently pick up the Logitech G Pro X for a heavily reduced $132.99 at Amazon instead of the normal $179.99, and although it’s a bit pricier, you’re getting a superlight pointer from one of the best in the business here.

iBUYPOWER Slate MESH (SMI7N5701) | $1,799.99 $1,529.99 at Amazon

If you’ve been itching to get a new PC for all those massive games en route, you’ll want to check out this build. It’s similar to the one featured in our iBUYPOWER Slate MP8 003 review, but includes a newer Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 GPU. That’ll be more than enough horsepower to hit demanding system requirements, and a 15% Prime Day discount means you can grab it for a new record low price.

Tomb Raider collection for Super Pocket and Evercade is how much?!

Super Pocket Capcom edition next to big box copy of Tomb Raider 2 for PC

(Image credit: Future / Phil Hayton)

Evercade Tomb Raider Collection | $24.99 $10.31 at Amazon

I’m not used to seeing big discounts on Evercade cartridges in the US, but Amazon has knocked the Tomb Raider collection to just over $10. That feels pretty wild for a cart with the first three PS1 outings, and you’ll be able to use it with everything from the Super Pocket to the Evercade Alpha arcade machines.

Earlier, I shared that the Super Pocket is now under $50 thanks to Prime Day. I don’t know about you, but the idea of grabbing a handheld and three Tomb Raider games for under $60 sounds pretty phenomenal, and it’ll save you faffing around with emulation nonsense.

Reminder: The Lenovo Legion Go S is under $500

(Image credit: Future / Phil Hayton)

Lenovo Legion Go S (Windows 11) | $729.99 $499.99 at Best Buy

If you’ve been searching for the perfect handheld gaming PC over Prime Day, you’ve no doubt already come across the Lenovo Legion Go S. If not, then you’ll want to go check out the Steam Deck rival since it has dropped under $500 at Best Buy. The offer means you’re getting an 8-inch device with an 1080p 120Hz display, adjustable triggers, and all the versatility of Windows 11 for less than a 512GB Steam Deck OLED model.

Admittedly, Windows 11 is a blessing and a curse, but I can confirm the Legion Go S makes up for that with nicer controls than its predecessor and solid build quality. Performance is on par with the Steam Deck, though, so if you want something that packs a greater punch, you’ll want to start with the Asus ROG Ally.

Atari 400 Mini | $90.42 $76.16 at Amazon

Plug and play retro consoles were all the rage in the late 2010s, but systems like the Atari 400 Mini are still delivering an excellent pint-sized way to play the classics. I’ve been watching a specific listing for a while that allows you to order the device via Amazon Germany for far less than in the US, and it’s now sitting under $80 for the first time.

You’ll get free delivery despite it technically being an import, and the German version is virtually the same as the one sold in the US. That means playing plenty of microcomputer capers using HDMI and having the ability to run your own Atari 5200 and 8-bit ROMs, something that’ll make playing games from decades ago far easier.

Holding onto your old Switch? The Nitro Deck will revamp the handheld for under $50

CRKD Nitro Deck Limited Edition | $79.99 $47.99 at Amazon

I don’t know about you, but I’ve gotten used to the feel of bulkier handhelds like the Steam Deck. Therefore, the idea of giving the OG Switch more heft using a controller grip with the Nitro Deck sounds ideal, and the limited edition Gamecube version is now under $50 thanks to Prime Day.

This is actually a record low on the Gamecube-themed model, which is great since it’s arguably the best-looking version. That said, no matter what colorway you settle for, you’ll get hall-effect thumbsticks and ergonomic grips that could save you from thinking about the Switch 2 for a little while.

Our best budget controller pick just hit a new record low

EasySMX X10 controller on a black shelf with a plant next to it

EasySMX X10 PC Controller | $49.99 $26.49 at Amazon

Even at full price, the EasySMX X10 is what we’d call a solid budget PC controller. But, apparently, Prime Day wasn’t content with that MSRP, so the sale has dropped it to under $30 for subscribers.

The 47% discount knocks the EasySMX to a new record low at Amazon, and honestly, I’d be surprised if you find a better value gamepad for under $27. The controller comes armed with hall-effect joysticks, back buttons, and even removable faceplates – all traits that normally apply to premium pads. This is absolutely a deal worth instantly adding to your cart before stock vanishes.

Sony Inzone H5 gaming headset | $149.99 $128 at Amazon

If you’re seeking a Sony-branded headset for your PS5, you’ll certainly want to check out the Inzone H5. While this pair of cans doesn’t quite have a seat at our best gaming headset table, it’s still a solid audio solution for the PlayStation 5 that’ll be super comfortable and will work with your PC too.

Prime Day has knocked 15% off the Inzone H5, which brings it back down to its lowest ever price. It is on the pricey side even with a discount, but if you want solid PS5 spatial audio and something that looks the part, this could be the headset for you.

WD Black SN770M M.2 SSD | $139.99 $84.99 at Amazon

The Steam Deck seems to be living in my head rent-free today (no surprises there), so I thought I’d share one of the best upgrades you can make to the handheld. Using a nifty Prime Day discount, you can grab a compatible WD Black SN770M M.2 SSD and give your portable a huge storage upgrade, which could save you eyeing up other devices for a little while.

Instinctively, I’d say this 2230 M.2 SSD will benefit those of you with an older 64GB model most, although it’ll still double the capacity of the top Steam Deck OLED available. This drive is also compatible with the Asus ROG Ally and various other portable PCs, so you don’t have to be on team Valve to pick this one up.

The Steam Deck dock I use daily is discounted and comes with a freebie

Baseus 6-in-1 docking station with Steam Deck connected and monitor in backdrop

(Image credit: Future / Phil Hayton)

Baseus 6-in-1 Steam Deck dock | $39.99 $31.99 at Amazon

Not to big myself up, but I was one of the first to publish Steam Deck dock reviews on the internet, so I know a thing or two about docking stations for the handheld. With that in mind, the Baseus 6-in-1 Steam Deck dock remains my favorite due to its solid build quality, thoughtful design elements, and trendsetting adjustable cradle, and it’s down in price for Prime Day.

Now, it’s worth noting that the Baseus 6-in-1 has dipped under $30 in the past, but there’s more to this specific deal than meets the eye. If you add the company’s 100W USC cable to your cart too, you’ll get that thrown in for free, which is neat since it comes armed with a tiny LED stats screen. The bundle naturally means you’re getting a better offer than before, as the wire retails for $18.99. If you do want the cable on its own, though, it’s going for $15.19 at Amazon thanks to Prime Day.

One of our top PS5 controller alternatives is 25% off with Prime

The GameSir Tarantula Pro on its charging stand

(Image credit: Future / Duncan Robertson)

GameSir Tarantula Pro | $79.99 $59.99 at Amazon

Personally, I prefer Xbox-style gamepads, but if you’re looking for an affordable PC controller with symmetrical Sony vibes, the GameSir Tarantula Pro will deliver for under $60. Now sitting at a record low price for Prime Day, this pad is going to work with your rig, Switch, and smartphone thanks to Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless connectivity.

The main audience for this controller is potentially those of you who’ve been using a Dualshock to play PC games for years, but would like a fresher controller with perks like back buttons. It also boasts hall-effect thumbsticks, so it’ll potentially outlast the old PS4 controller too, and fight off the dreaded stick drift.

My go-to Game Boy-shaped emulator is under $60

Anbernic RG35XX Plus with Sonic 2 on screen

Anbernic RG35XX Plus | $74 $58.99 at Amazon

The Anbernic RG35XX Plus is pretty much the evolution of the classic Bittboy handheld emulator that’s been going for years now, and it’s 20% cheaper at Amazon for Prime Day. This pocket-friendly portable is surprisingly versatile despite taking cues from the Game Boy, and it’ll make for a great way to play everything from Ninty console classics to 3D PS1 capers.

There are a few listings for the RG35XX Plus at Amazon, but this grey version is the cheapest I’ve spotted at the retailer. If you’re not fussed about the newest model, there’s also a vanilla RG35XX for $42.99, but based on my testing, the Plus packs a better value punch for the money.

Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SD) |
$899.99 $649.99 at Amazon

I’ve tested enough gaming monitors to fill a warehouse, and the Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 is up there with the best. Not only does it boast tremendously vibrant visuals thanks to its panel and an attractive aesthetic, but you’ll also get one of the top anti-glare displays out there right now for under $550, thanks to Prime Day.

It’s worth keeping in mind that there are now two versions of the Odyssey OLED G6. The original’s panel can hit 360Hz, whereas the slightly cheaper version sticks with 240Hz. Both are going to feel super slick in first-person shooters, but you might want to spend slightly more if you’d rather boost fps further at 1440p.

(Image credit: Future / Phil Hayton)

Jsuax 20000mAh 65W Power Bank | $59.99 $47.99 at Amazon

Yes, I know chargers aren’t exactly riveting, but that’s why you should use Prime Day to grab something like the Jsaux 20000mAh 65W power bank for your Steam Deck. I can say without a doubt that I’d be scrambling for my AC adapter constantly if it weren’t for this compact juice box, as it helps give the powerhouse a bit more stamina when handling beefy modern PC releases.

If you grab the matching Jsaux ModCase, you’ll also be able to attach this 65W to the Deck like a backpack. Sadly, Prime Day hasn’t discounted that cover yet, but the power bank on its own is still highly effective since it has a tailored USB-C cable at the top, an extra port for high-speed charging, and two full-size USB-A ports for your other gadgets.

The Super Pocket, my favorite budget handheld, is now under $50

Super Pocket handheld with Super Burger Time title screen displayed.

Super Pocket TECHNOS Edition | $56.37 $47.99 at Amazon

It’s arguably already extremely affordable, but the wonderful Super Pocket has dropped under $15 for Prime Day. It normally stays pretty solidly at $60 in the US, but the budget-friendly portable now has 15% off.

The Prime discount applies to the TECHNOS version of the Super Pocket, meaning it comes with 15 arcade games by that specific arcade publisher. That’s great news for the retro console fans out there collecting these tiny Evercade cartridge-based systems, as you’ll be able to add the blue and white variant to your collection. But, even if you’re new, this cheap and cheerful console is going to bring you a lot of joy for far less than a single Switch 2 game.

We’re only halfway through this year’s Prime Day deals!

That’s right, normally Amazon Prime Day would be all tucked away right now but the retailer has doubled down on its summer sale in 2025. That means you’ll still be able to grab discounts on all things PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC until July 11. I’ll, of course, be right here seeing you through all the newest savings.
