Persona 6, Kingdom Hearts 4, and More Unannounced Achievements Revealed as Part of Major Steam Leak

Achievements for various upcoming games have been made public as part of a significant Steam leak.

Spoiler-filled achievements for Persona 6 and Kingdom Hearts 4, among many others, appeared on achievement tracking website Exophase. In the case of Kingdom Hearts 4, the achievements reveal unannounced worlds. The Persona 6 achievements hint at plot points.

Little is known about Persona 6, which was announced during June’s Xbox Games Showcase with the teaser, below.

We do know it’s a day-one Game Pass title, though, and that it is due out on Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. Here’s the official blurb:

“Persona 6 brings everything beloved about the series into a bold new story. The signature blend of heartfelt daily life and pulse-pounding supernatural adventure returns, wrapped around a completely fresh, standalone story and a new cast of characters. Whether you’ve been with the series since the beginning or this is your very first Persona experience, you belong here!”

Square Enix has announced just one Kingdom Hearts 4 world so far: Coco. Last month, Kingdom Hearts 4 co-director Tai Yasue and series creator Tetsuya Nomura assured fans that it is a “100% thing” the game will not be delayed past its late 2027 launch window.

The owner of Exophase blamed this leak on Steam owner Valve. “Seems like a possible screw up on Valve’s end, a bunch of games with achievements that should be private are accessible through the API right now and that’s why they got scanned into the site,” x3sphere said in a post on ResetEra. “I usually never see games without an actual name pop up with achievements, yet over the past hour or so a bunch have (when there’s an unknown name we just set it to the AppID).”

Also included in the leak are a number of unannounced games, such as a Steam release for Capcom’s much-loved Nintendo 3DS game, Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. There’s also an unannounced Nickelodeon game, unannounced Telltale Games The Walking Dead Collection, and an unannounced Tetris game. Gematsu has a roundup.
