Pokémon Go’s LEGO collaboration is now live, bringing exclusive in-game rewards if you stop by a participating store — so, here’s where to find one.
LEGO and Pokémon Go have teamed up this year as the former rolls out a range of Pokémon LEGO sets, many of which are infused with Smart Play technology. Pokémon Go also celebrated the European leg of its big summer events in Copenhagen, just a stone’s throw from LEGO’s global headquarters, and rolled out exclusive in-game bonuses.
Well, those in-game bonuses have thankfully become a lot easier to obtain for other Pokémon Go players, as long as you live in the U.S., Europe or Australia. Select LEGO stores across these regions now host all-day raids and sponsored PokéStops, which all bestow special goodies.
So, what do you get? Well, every day, each location will host one all-day raid that awards a Pikachu with a LEGO special background. Spinning the sponsored stops, meanwhile, will award LEGO Pokémon in-game stickers. Of course, you don’t physically need to go into a LEGO store to get these bonuses, as you can interact with the in-game locations just by standing near. Indeed, head close enough and you’ll also unlock an in-game Stamp Rally, which awards another Pikachu and records your progress if you visit further LEGO store locations.
With just over 200 participating stores, there’s too many to list out here in full. However, an interactive map right here will now show you where to find the location closest to you.
In the U.S., the majority of states have at least one participating LEGO store. Over in Europe, the UK has around 20 — including four in London. And in mainland Europe, France, Germany and Poland also have local stores — though, strangely, there are none in Denmark.
This summer, Pokémon Go is celebrating its 10th year of operation (yes, it really has been a decade since it all began). Up next for the game will be its big end of summer Go Fest Finale event, where players expect more Mega Pokémon to make their debut, alongside other surprises. LEGO, meanwhile, has a fresh wave of Pokémon sets coming on October 1, including the $299.99 Iconic Trainer Moments: Poké Ball set, which will contain the first LEGO Pokémon minifigures.
