New Crimson Desert update finally solves the case of the missing outdoor furniture

New Crimson Desert update finally solves the case of the missing outdoor furniture

Pearl Abyss has released another patch for Crimson Desert, its popular single player RPG spin-off from hit Korean MMO Black Desert.

While smaller than previous patches which added the likes of new mounts and minigames including pinball, this update still makes a number of notable improvements to the game. For example, it has made it so the furniture you place outdoors doesn’t disappear, which is always helpful. You should now be able to climb onto moving objects as intended, too..

These improvements all come as part of Crimson Desert’s 1.12.01 update, which is available now across PlayStation, Xbox and Steam. Those of you playing via either Epic Games Store or the Mac App Store will have to wait a little longer for this update, but developer Pearl Abyss has assured it is in-progress.

You can take a look at the full patch notes, taken directly from the official Crimson Desert website, below:

  • Fixed an issue where furniture placed outdoors disappeared in certain situations.
  • Fixed an issue where players could not climb onto moving objects in certain situations.
  • Fixed an issue where lighting on glass materials appeared unnatural.
  • Fixed an issue where terrain on the path to the Sanctum of Faith was floating in the air.
  • Fixed an issue where Skunky would disappear when placed down in camp.

Despite launching with some middling reviews, which saw Pearl Abyss’ shares take a bit of a dive, Crimson Desert has been a huge success. Earlier this month, the company announced that Crimson Desert had sold over 6m copies worldwide since its release in March. Its success reportedly saw Pearl Abyss give every employee a bonus that equated to about $3,400, and now Crimson Desert DLC is planned.
