The incredibly popular Pokémon Pokopia, which came out in March, sold over 2.2 million copies in its opening weekend. It really is a fun, perfectly nostalgic time. In it, gamers play as a lovable Ditto Pokémon who transforms into the shape of its missing former trainer. Ditto ends up in the seemingly familiar Kanto region, but which has been turned to rubble. Ditto and a Tangrowth, disguised as a Pokémon professor, are tasked with rebuilding the region, uncovering mysteries along the way.
In her 9/10 Pokémon Pokopia review, Rebekah Valentine said, “Pokémon Pokopia is a real treat: an enjoyable building and town simulator that capitalizes on the charming personalities of its monsters in a way that appeals to both the creative and collector alike.”
Pokémon Pokopia, of course, will play great on the Switch 2, which received major upgrades over its predecessor.
