Attack of the Vine Stock and Buying Guide

Attack of the Vine Stock and Buying Guide

Disney Lorcana’s newest set, Attack of the Vine, is the last chapter in the game’s “Vine Saga” and is packed with awesome cards.

That’s… the good news. Sadly, it’s looking tricky to buy online, and while packs and boxes are rarer than hen’s teeth right now, there’s a good chance that problem will ease off once more product becomes available.

Retailers will likely restock in the coming days, but for now, here’s what’s available on the secondary market.

Lorcana’s Attack of the Vine Product Lineup in Full

Booster Packs and Boxes

Booster Pack

Booster Pack

The cornerstone of any TCG set, Booster Packs are likely to be easier to find in your local game store, and probably cheaper, too.

Booster Box

Attack of the Vine packs include six common cards, three uncommons, two rares (or above), and one foil card. Right now, they’re around $12 on TCGplayer (so you’re basically paying double on the MSRP), while a box will set you back $200 when they should be closer to $145.

Illumineer’s Trove

Another staple of Disney Lorcana sets, Illumineer’s Trove boxes contain a bunch of boosters and some neat extras like a storage box with dividers and some dice.

This one has 8 booster packs inside and is currently selling for over $100. That’s… ridiculous, and you should definitely wait it out, no matter how cool it looks. The MSRP is $50!

Starter Set – Rapunzel Edition

This is where things get really rough, because anyone looking to kickstart their Disney Lorcana collection with the Rapunzel Edition of the Starter Set will feel as though they’ve been hit in the head with the heroine’s frying pan.

The set, which should cost $30, includes four Booster Packs, a Rapunzel portfolio case, a special Rapunzel – Ethereal Protector promo card, and a collector’s guide. Right now? It’s going for $80. Do not pay that!

Looking for something a little different from the usual Disney Lorcana matches? The Illumineer’s Quest: The Great Hunny Rescue is a solo or co-op card game with two player decks, scenario decks, Vine Tendril cards, encounter cards, and more.

It’s going for closer to $100 right now, but expect it to tumble relatively quickly after launch.
