You Can Already Save On Magic’s Reality Fracture Set, And It’s Not Out Until October

The advantage of Magic: The Gathering having a colossal release year with more sets than we know what to do with is that we’re never too far from shiny new cardboard.

It also means we can see what’s coming, and we’ve got good news if you’re excited for Reality Fracture – it’s seeing early discounts on Play Booster Boxes at Amazon. It’s only a relatively slim $10 saving, but thanks to Amazon’s Pre-Order Price Guarantee, if it drops further, you’re guaranteed the best price.

Reality Fracture Sees Early Discount At Amazon

The MSRP of $164.70 nets you a box of 30 packs, with a per-pack value of $5.49. With this discount, that drops to $5.16.

That’s not a huge drop, admittedly, but it’s nice to see some savings early on for a set that’s starting to get a bit of buzz.

Rather than Universes Beyond sets, which are taking players to the likes of Middle-earth and the Marvel Universe, Reality Fracture is within Magic’s own universe but offers alternate universe versions of some of its most iconic cards.

For example, fiery Planeswalker Chandra Nalaar has gone from a red card to a blue card now as the Chill of Compliance, while there are some bizarro cards like Stingcaster Mage, as well as the return of Prepared spells with Bloodline Recollector which comes packing Ancestral Craving.

We’ve barely seen any of the cards yet, but the idea of refreshed cards from Magic’s past has me giddy – so let’s hope the discounts continue.
